The authorized construction cost is updated when a Change Order is approved which adds money to the project. Either way, more projects stay in the black.

Zoom out and access the charting slide which allows you to look at  Cost Over Time, Quantity Over Time, Percent Complete Over Time, Quantities Approaching 100% (75-100), Quantities Over 100%, and any Unit Price Change Orders Issued. For the three charts, you can select a customized date range and look at specific metrics for the entire project or specific work items.
